While Asia into pre-London offered us a fantastic short term GBP/JPY pullback long off of a weekly m1 reversal pivot point, London was setting up to offer us an even better reload to the downside direction that our Daily trap break began yesterday. In this video I discuss in detail how we pre-determined the area we were looking at as resistance, how we isolated that region, and ultimately what we looked for specifically to enter the short with confidence, all while keeping risk as low as possible. This trade worked fantastically, partially helped by negative GBP Retail Sales news later on, and if you kept it long term continued well into the NY open. Stellar day for the British Pound Sterling. We started off pre-London a bit slow, but gave no reason to doubt continuation of our GBP strength started yesterday during the London session, as the EUR/GBP was tipping it’s hand early letting us know it’s intentions for the Pound tonight.. Today the EUR/GBP and GBP/CHF 2hr macd divergence we have seen for over a week finally was followed up by some lower highs on the EUR/GBP and higher lows on GBP/CHF. Hinting Strongly at minimum of a 21 ema pullback on these long term charts was about to occur. During Pre-London today the British Pound Sterling began showing signs of strength against all comers, and offered a nice higher low entry on GBP/USD that carried eventually all the way until the daily R2 reversal pivot point. Asia into Pre-London today offered some wonderful Yen pairing short entries off resistance that seriously paid the bills if you took a basket of them. Yet into the London open we had the USD/JPY bouncing off today’s M1 reversal pivot point right at the open.
